Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 30, 2021
I finally have a date to announce for the postponed Charlotte Trade-O-Ree. After our Governor announced that by June 1 North Carolina would be done with gathering limitations I got the church to return my emails. So I’m happy to announce here first that the Charlotte TOR will be held on September 17-18, 2021.
This date works out pretty well as its month after the Occoneechee TOR earlier in August. It’s also the weekend before TORs in Atlanta and Middle TN. So while that makes for a busy calendar we have all been ready to travel for so long.
Right now on eBay I’ve got 284 live auctions including OA and National Jamboree items. Many of those OA pieces are ending Sunday night!
Speaking of TORs I am attending the Alabama TOR next weekend. I’m looking forward to seeing my brothers in the cloth. I have never been to this one but it will be my first in almost 2 years at this point!

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
