Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter May 3, 2024
Last night Chris Jensen arrived with tables and with help from some local Scouters we got the room set for this weekend’s Charlotte Trade-O-Ree. There are over 100 tables in the fellowship hall and with some last minute additions we now have 30 vendors renting tables. I hope to see some of you there!
One of the big pushes for me is emptying the high shelves in my warehouse. I have 15 months until my lease is out but I don’t know if I’ll stay in the same unit once I’ve reached the 5 year point. So I would love to re-home a lot of bulky items and collecting supplies this weekend.
No matter what happens this weekend with the TOR I do have 226 live auctions on eBay exclusively focused on flaps and one more PA camp felt emblem. Yesterday I scheduled the first neckerchief of over 1000 that we have ready to list. You should see those going up starting this weekend.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
