Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter June 14, 2024
Late last night I got back from a visit to Camp Barstow. While there I got to see the new boathouse (amazing!) and visit with many of my old staff friends. I was even surprised to see guys from an old Pee Dee Area troop that I grew up with. My very first Whatnot live sale is coming up Monday, June (not January!) 17 @ 4 PM. In this sale I am offering items from the personal collection of Sam Wampler who is acknowledged as the founder of the Florida Sea Base.
On eBay I have 221 live auctions heading into the weekend. Many of these are neckerchiefs as I round the corner on that giant sort that we accomplished this spring.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
