Many of the collections that I get have three things in common. The Scout was an Eagle Scout and/or went to Philmont and/or went to a National Jamboree. All of those are mountaintop experiences in the program and typically mean a lot. So these collections get carried around for years through moves and relocations. But eventually someone has to become the person to pass these items on to the next generation of Scout collectors. That’s where I come in to show them that their old memorabilia is valued and appreciated. This unboxing like many others I have done tries to unwrap some of the history that this Scout collection holds and spark an interest in young collectors.
If you have a collection that is sitting in a box in an attic, in a closet or down in the basement please reach out. I’d love to talk to you on the phone and hear your Scouting story.
