Since 2021 I have been helping Russell Smart piece out his extensive OA collection with a Shopify Store that we built called SmartScoutPatches. Over the last two weeks I have done an extensive review of the pricing in the store. I comped every single item in the store to bring them in line with market pricing over the last five years.

The results of that effort have lowered the overall pricing in the store by more than 35%. But since this was done on a patch by patch basis some of the items were only reduced a little and some got discounted more than 50%! The original pricing was what he paid for things back in the day…so we wanted to bring that in line with what the market value has been in more recent sales.

The readers of the Hot Finds are the first people to get this alert. Only later today will I share in other places on social media that we have completely repriced the entire store. I am sure a few wise crackers will send me an email today telling me why this patch or the other is still too high for them. But my goal was to balance the store with the sales comps I could find and still return a good value for Russell.

On eBay I have 144 live auctions running on OA, SAPs and more. If you are an eBay seller yourself don’t forget that July 1 brings in the 3rd quarter. This means store subscribers have free shipping supplies to cash in on.
