The reason I have always built the first block of the Hot Finds with the truly vintage items is because that’s where I have the most fun picking. Just in this group there is vintage insignia, uniforms, sashes and even a sprinkle of OA.
Tonight Matt Delk and I have our final pop-up Scout museum. We usually start off with a small crowd to hear the formal “talk” and then over the next two hours have a steady stream of visitors who want to know more about all this vintage Scouting memorabilia. I hope that next year the focus of my talk can be Order of the Arrow flaps with a complete set of 1 flap from every lodge framed and set up. A man has to set goals in life!
Later today I’ll try and publish another unboxing video. Back before I left for camp I had some of these filmed and my video editor has got them ready. I’ve just been so busy that I can’t find time to push upload. If you want to check if the video is live visit my website www.ScoutPatchCollectors.com.
On eBay I have 225 auctions including a bunch of trail patches, SAPs, RWS, and more. Every week I’ve been loading up new auctions to keep the store fresh during the hot summer months.
My son is up here at Barstow this week as a camper. He came with a neighborhood friend and so far during free time they have gone swimming and built a lego robot. I also hear they have taken a shower which is unverified.
