I do want to apologize for sending ya’ll the wrong newsletter yesterday. I was at my mom’s house and in a hurry to get going on some chores she had lined up for me. So I hit the wrong buttons and selected the Scouting guys by mistake. Long time readers will know I do this every couple of years – it’s almost like a jinx!
Today I read up about Facebook Stores. This is not something that is actually rolled out completely yet. But I am always trying to stay on top of the next shiny object in the ecommerce marketplace. I’ve had my Shopify store connected to Facebook for years but it’s a clunky experience. So I’ll keep an eye out and report once this feature is offered to my page and I can set something up.
Sadly the 90th Anniversary of Camp Barstow won’t see a summer camp. However we had an amazing patch set designed to celebrate and the council has decided to move ahead and still issue the set including an anniversary belt buckle. There is even a limited edition border color to get collectors excited. I helped design this set so I am a big fan of the history it represents. All told it celebrates 100 years of the council, 90 years of the camp and 25 years at the current location on Lake Murray in SC.
The auction strategy rolls on. I have 175 CSPs up for bids on ScoutPatchHQ. I have 175 auctions running with OA, RWS and more on Patchsniper. See how this 25 auction a night thing works. I’m just a tad off because OApatch has 174 auctions on OA flaps and two-piece sets.
Today I’ve got to open a box of consignment stuff and get to working on that. Tuesday’s are a day I’m alone in the office and I can work on lots of projects while M-W-F are the shipping days typically.
