Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 27, 2023

 

Back from the beach and ready to hit it hard listing and turning over inventory in the business. I came back from vacation having reread four business/lifestyle books that will help put me on a good path for the last four months of 2023. I am focusing on just a few numbers in my business and also blocking out time to do the essentials. I’m a bit like someone with New Year’s resolutions but it’s the beginning of the school year on the calendar.

 

 

For readers of the Hot Finds nothing is going to change. I’ll still be cranking out three newsletters per week. My focus is going to be on getting more stuff listed as I’m running out of room in my warehouse. With the opportunity to go buy a few more collections in September I have to make room! One of those is a guy who I’ve been working on since 2019 and I think he is ready to finally make a deal.

 

 

For my newest eBay Store I’ve been loading it up with auctions on vintage neckerchiefs and fixed priced CSPs this week. The overall goal is to get 100 new items listed across all the platforms every day. I can already see that’s going to be a challenge but I am going to hold myself accountable this fall to make it happen.

 

 

On Santeeswapper I have 258 live auctions running this week on OA, WJ, camp and more. I try and run items from different categories in the hobby to keep interest going. Over on OApatch I have 156 live auctions featuring some nice OA flaps and issues.
