Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 08, 2017
I made table reservations this week to attend the Atlanta TOR at the end of the month. This will be my first time going to that show in many years. Now that I am in Charlotte it’s not quite so bad of a drive. I know some road warriors like Mark Graff will travel 12+ hours to get to TORs but that’s a bit beyond my limit for sitting on my keister and staying between the yellow lines.
With another hurricane threatening I am making sure that all my eBay orders are shipped before the weekend gets a little choppy. So far the track has the storm swinging to the west of my location but then the stronger winds are usually on the right hand side of these hurricanes. So we will do as B-P said and “Be Prepared” over the coming days.
I have spent most of Wednesday and Thursday taking my inventory of 2017 Jamboree issues and launching them on eBay as fixed price Buy-It-Now listings. So far I’ve got about 400 items up and more to come as I work on it the rest of the afternoon.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
