Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 5, 2017

I’ve decided to move forward with the idea of having silent auctions at next years Charlotte TOR. We have a lot of old timers in the Scouting community at the church that hosts the event and I think with time we can put together a nice auction. Plus one of the thing that people love at TORs is the silent auctions.

When I took on the consignment from Marty Wasznicky it was kinda interesting because he had everything priced already. So I ran with his numbers and we moved some of the top pieces as is usually the case. People always are willing to pay top dollar for the big ones. Now that things have slowed down I’m juicing the New England OA listings with a 15% discount code this week.

I am back to running auctions on fresh inventory and all this week it features another consignor. This guy spent a lot of years going to Jamborees and NOACs trading patches. This run is 1981, 1985 and 1989 Jamboree shoulder patches and staff items.
