Unboxing 55 Pounds of Scouting Memorabilia Reveals Century Old Museum Quality Eagle Scout Scrapbook

For two years I had these three boxes of Scouting memorabilia sitting on a shelf in my warehouse. The boxes had been there so long I seemed to remember I needed to film an unboxing but had honestly forgot what was so special about the collection. In real time as you watch this video you will see the moment when the realization hits me that I had forgotten about the 1920s Eagle Scout scrapbook that came with this collection. It’s truly one of the most treasured items I’ve ever received in a collection. But thinking back it fits right into the mission of my business.

I had a conversation with a Scouter from New York a few years ago and he shared that his dad had gotten hold of this scrapbook. He recognized it was something special but just didn’t know what to do with it. That’s where my mission to recycle Scouting memorabilia and preserve the history solved his dilemma of how do I make sure my kids don’t toss this stuff if something happens to me. Now it’s my job to share this cool piece with the world and preserve the legacy that the scrapbook contains. My plans are to make digitally scan the entire scrapbook and share it for free as a PDF on my website so that anyone can enjoy it. If you too have a Scouting memorabilia collection that you don’t know what to do with please reach out to me. I’d love to hear your story.
