I should be riding in the patch bus right about now arriving in Columbus for the Trade-O-Ree. However, the family schedule kinda blew that trip up so instead I’m home doing shipping and getting more stuff listed.
This weekend my auction on the rare Tomo Chi-Chi advisor flap ends on eBay. I’m not sure how many of these were made but I believe it’s perhaps a dozen or so. It’s just one of those you’ll never get this patches that I got in on consignment and the auction has been fun to watch.
I had some luck yesterday at an art supply store. So I have some big portfolio binders that come with one fatal flap for patches. They have super weak 18×24 paper that just flops over when you try and use it on a TOR table. At the local art store I found some 140 LB paper meant for watercolor paintings that is going to be a perfect replacement. Now I can really use this set up to maximize my space.
I have 143 live auctions including the old 1911 lithograph that has plenty of watchers but is waiting on a bid. My strategy has been to keep loading up both the eBay store and my Shopify store at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com every week.
