Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 05, 2021
This week I finally got to focus on listing more items in my eBay store. Specifically, I listed hundreds (like 500+) belt buckles, neckerchief slides, coins and all the other 3D kinda items that I have been sitting on for way too long. You can find it all at my Patchblanket eBay Store.
Not long after getting today’s issue published I’m headed to the Sleepy Poet to finish topping off the merchandise in my booth. I’ve got a few hundred books, mugs, even some plush Cub Scout animals to stock the booth with. In the few short days that the new location has been opened I’ve sold about 1/4 of what I usually do in a month so that’s a good sign.
I have 202 live auctions on eBay with a nice group of OA capping it off Sunday night. I’m getting to the end of selling a wonderful OA collection that I purchased in January (SKU code TK on the listing). This has probably been the best collection quality wise that I ever purchased and quite a few pieces went into my personal OA collection.
Saturday night I’ve got a date night. Not with my wife but in my warehouse watching my favorite college football team kick it off at 7:30 PM. I can watch the game on a computer and get some work down in the quiet of my office. I must be getting old but I am so looking forward tomorrow night win or lose on the field.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
