Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 12, 2021

Earlier this week I published a Top 10 video for the month of August 2021. What I decided to do here was turn things around and this time rank the items according to the number of bids. This resulted in some unique listings making the cut. You can see the videos and find which items made the Top 10 here.

This was also a momentous week for my OA flap collection. I got my #1 most valuable need in the mail – a Baluga S1. I did a Facebook live video showing people my excitement and that led to me getting a lead on another need and making a deal to purchase another. I’d say it’s been a good week!

Over on eBay I have 237 live auctions running with my usual large batch ending on Sunday night. I’ve also been at work just posting items directly into the store and not using the auction format. The store is up to 52k live items as of this morning.

The other things I wanted to share was that yesterday Camp Barstow was featured in a post on the Bryan on Scouting blog with Scouting Magazine. The article featured our unique summer camp program that has changed the way we teach merit badges. You can check out the post to hear how we invented a whole new way to run summer camp.
