Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 21, 2016

I think I saw that sash pictured below at the Ohio TOR but I could be mistaken about that. It’s been a while since I added any merit badges to my collection but I’m still keeping tabs on prices and what hits eBay in that niche.

Every so often one lodge kinda heats up and things from there go for higher than their historical average. That is certainly the case with Sioux #62 as I’ve been watching eBay lately. Maybe there is new collector with cash getting serious in the hobby or maybe it’s just Region 9 collectors bidding each other up.

Thursday I got hundreds of auctions ready so I can keep up a steady diet of listing. I’ve been averaging 20-30 auctions launching every night and it’s been fun to hear the cha-ching every evening when they all end. Last night I was in Wal-Mart with my volume set at 100% when the eBay APP went nuts. That was a little embarrassing but it’s still a good sound!

You can see by this block that I’ve got a real mix of stuff up for bids on eBay. Old activity patches, newer Jamboree flaps and JSPs, including last night I was launching World Jamboree contingent patches. You can check this link to see all my live auction on eBay.
