A little known area on john’s site is his blogs. Some are quite interesting and many are informative as he has guest writers from other areas of the country providing him with scans and information on new issues. I myself try and keep him updated on the South Carolina issues as i am aware of them. john always welcomes new issues news and scans for his site.
Currently John is doing a tour of the good ole u s of a! but is doing it through patches shaped like each state. check out his site for these interesting posts and lets see if their is a patch shaped like every state in the union!! Sure would make one beautiful patch blanket.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
