Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 25, 2022

When life throws you curve balls it can definitely knock you off the plan. I had not planned to take a short 2-week break from my live show but I am prepping tomorrow to get it back on the air. This episode will feature an unboxing and a video with Russell Smart. I’ll have a notice on Facebook and YouTube tomorrow.

Last night I went to dinner with my wife and her coworkers as a kinda meet the spouses meal at a local restaurant. She works for a smaller agency in town that’s still kinda in start up mode so it was nice to put faces to names I’ve heard about. The food and conversation was great. My kids got pizza delivered to the house so they were not complaining.

I have really been going through my local dupes in anticipation of the lodge fellowship this weekend. I have a feeling that sleep will be in short supply as we will all want to spend as much time as possible taking in the last lodge fellowship before merging. I think we have some memorable things planned for the lodge brothers.

On eBay I have 170 live auctions this week with my usual mix of niches featured. I’m also running a big sale on activity patches this week of which I have many.

One of the things that our committee is bringing to the final event is some really cool signs that close the book on lodge history. Working with Mac McLean (who has been the keeper of the lists) we will have some awesome signs that are suitable for hanging on the wall. I’ll be sure to take pictures and share.
