Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 6, 2024
I am happy to announce that table reservations are now live for the 7th Annual Charlotte TOR. We are back to the normal date for us which is 2 weekends prior to Easter – so this year April 4-5. The event is held at my church in our 7,000+ sq ft fellowship hall. This year I am bringing back the silent auction and we will still have room for displays. I hope you can make plans to attend.
In a few minutes I will be wheels up driving to NCAC TOR in VA. The van is packed and I will have Best Hobby Pages with me for sale. I am excited to lay out a killer OA collection from one of the VA lodges that I purchased recently and will have available.
I have 138 live auctions on eBay including lots of really good OA, felt camp patches and more. I am also starting to introduce some merit badges into my auction line up.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
