Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 8, 2024

First off let me thank Kevin and Todd and all the folks that helped put on the NCAC TOR at Camp Snyder this weekend. I got to see so many collecting friends and catch up with them. A bunch of us went out to breakfast Saturday morning and I was reminded that is what’s so important about TORs – the fellowship!

I have been listening to audio books at the YMCA and this week I clicked on one called the 12 Week Year. What good timing! This book focuses on setting not annual goals but a 12 week goal and then repeating that process 4 times during the year. But more importantly it zeros in on accountability in the daily tactics you are using to achieve that 12 week goal.

For me this makes sense because I am leaving for a week long reseller conference in Las Vegas in 13 weeks. So naturally is a great mile post that I can use to test out the strategies in the book. I believe I have narrowed down my business goal will be to have my listings scheduled out for 3 weeks in advance by the end of the 12 weeks. That is a VERY measurable goal and will help me continue to feed the beast 50 new listings per day. There is nothing the eBay algorithm likes more than to see activity on your account.

Speaking of activity my auctions this week are cooking with 138 live auctions. I have OA, felt camp patches and more up for bids ending tonight.
