The idea for this new strategy came from my unboxing videos. Normally, as I crack open a collection and pull items out people send me messages asking to purchase certain items that they spot. But I wasn’t really set up for that and typically the items got sorted into boxes and put on a shelf. Now I’ll be able to sell the items and send an invoice for secure payment directly through the comments.
If you do register make sure and authorize the program to access your Facebook Messenger. This is the truly unique feature that will automate the messages back and forth. You will be able to simply comment “sold” and the items will go into your shopping cart. Then you can check out when you are ready using PayPal. Sounds almost too good to be true! The inaugural live sale will happen Monday at Noon EST. Any time you watch the video later the items shown will still be available for sale. But to have first shot you would need to watch the live sale at noon this coming Monday. The first sale will be a trial test and if I figure out the kinks I will schedule another sale very soon afterwards.
I’ll share some more information regarding the live sale in the Sunday issue including some screenshots. I’m visiting family today so I can just share the basics with more follow up in a few days. I just mailed a check off yesterday for a new small collection and I’m looking forward to using this new technology to have what I guess I’ll call a live sale unboxing!
