Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 21, 2014

SHF_oct_21

I have been taking advantage of this weeks eBay special to ramp up my own auctions on eBay. Going into tonight I’ve got just under 500 listings up for bids with a big group of Jamboree staff items ending tonight. You can check them out at my eBay store www.Patchblanket.com.

History tells us that the auction to watch in this block will be that group of 1947 World Jamboree issues. I’m not sure that the seller would have been smarter to list them individually but hey at least we get to watch the show.

There are some fun OA listings in this block. I’ve got the dancing bears along with a nice dance team jacket patch. I’ve also slipped in a few of my nice Lodge 104 auctions that earned their spot in this block based on bidding.

The Camp Pellissippi patch below has the same design as my home camps patches from that era. If I didn’t already have so many other collecting interests I’d considering adding that design as a side collection.

It have a wide variety of stuff up for auction including interesting lots, OA, uniforms and even some pieces from BSA Scouting in Korea. Below are some samples of the 488 auctions I have live.

I have been super focused on eBay lately and have not produced any other content for more than a week. I’ll try and change that this week and get a video published that I’ve had in the que for a while.
