One of my goals was to make one space solely for scanning collections. I’ve got boxes and boxes lined up now ready to get listed. Step 1 is getting them organized. But once that’s done step 2 is getting them scanned (or photographed). This table has my big scanner and should help me make process patches faster.
Filling Best Hobby Pages orders is another priority in the office space. This shelf and table system has everything I need to pull and ship order from the website. These are the great wooden boxes that Chris Jensen helped me get built.
I have a 2nd work station in the office since often times I’m here at the same time as my employee. So if she is shipping out orders I can be working from this table without missing a beat. Right now I’m actually on the hunt for a 2nd part time employee because I’m so backed up getting listings up. I’m trying to work my contacts in Charlotte to find someone via personal recommendation rather than a job posting on a website. So if you know anybody send them my way.
Yesterday I met with the other leaders in my Webelos patrol to plan out the program for the rest of 2019. My daughter’s troop is in the midst of elections so they haven’t planned anything beyond the October camporee. Once I know what my Scouting commitments are then I can start trying to get some TORs on the family calendar too.
I have a lot of shipping to get done today. I discovered a new trick on eBay that was a home run over the weekend and I got to work this morning with over 100 orders waiting to be shipped. Now that’s a good problem!
