The 52 pound Boy Scout collection I mentioned last issue was waiting for me at the UPS store Saturday. I have a sneaking suspicion that one box holds books. You would think that after all these years I would have told the guy “no books” before he packaged and mailed it. Depending on how Tuesday pans out I can get that unboxing video filmed.
Friday night all my 136 military auctions closed. We were watching a family movie but my phone kept buzzing with eBay notifications. When the dust settled I was VERY happy with the results. Several of the items had bidding wars that ran the sale price over $100.
I have had a few people email me regarding the postponed Charlotte TOR asking what’s the new date. So just to share with everyone we are still frozen out from getting a new date on the church calendar. Literally the church is closed to any on site in person activities for the rest of the month. I have a message in with our COR and the Facilities Manager to reschedule for the early fall. But at this time they are not adding anything to the calendar until the dust settles.
As my auction strategy rolls on I have 173 on Patchsniper mostly on OA flaps. On Oapatch you can find 185 auctions on OA flaps and two-piece sets. The $5dollarpatch store has 198 council shoulder patches up for bids.
I’ve started the project of trying to tweek and improve my shopify store at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com not that I’ve pulled the plug on Facbook live sales. There is still a way I can leverage that site to work with Facebook I just have to work out the kinks. I’m always looking to try new things so we will see!
