Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 27, 2022

 

A few months ago when we planned this trip to Naples FL we didn’t know that it would allow us to escape an “arctic bomb cyclone”. I have never seen it get down to 10 degrees in Charlotte so we were glad to head south. So for a few days we get to wear shorts and visit the beach.

 

I am a day late getting this one published as we spent all day yesterday traveling. Believe it or not I did meet a guy in the parking lot of a Bass Pro Shop to buy a box of Scouting memorabilia. Most of the stuff was from his dad who did his Scouting in New York back in the 1960s. I don’t think I’ll count the mileage as a business trip but that was a nice pit stop.

 

While the holidays are here I am taking a break from podcasts and live shows. But I have a few guys lined up to do interviews with maybe as early as next week. On the drive down here I was listening to podcasts and on person (in 2021) was talking about Comment Sold which a few of you will remember I tried out. I got nostalgic for a minute but remembered I have shiny object syndrome and thought better of it.

 

I have 85 live auctions on eBay focused on event patches. When I get back my priority will be to build out the January calendar to get new stuff listed.
