Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 6, 2023
This weekend I’m going to my lodge’s Fall Fellowship at the camp I grew up attending. The weather is going to be in the 70s and I have hopes of doing some patch trading Saturday night. This weekend I’ve got 122 live auctions including OA, Jamboree, and more ending soon. On my todo list is to update my TOR calendar. I listened in recently to a discussion about Trade-O-Rees happening this fall and realized that over the summer I let my own calendar get away from me. So hopefully by next week, I’ll have that fixed.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
