Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter July 7, 2024

We are at the beach but the Hot Finds goes on rain or shine. This year we are trying out St. Simons in GA. While down here I hope to step away from the patch business and get to reading some books on the beach and dipping my toes in the water. But even if I can’t catch it consider joining the Digitial Cracker barrel for an interesting topic tomorrow.

 

Jeff Morely has been a recurring guest on the weekly zooms and this week he has an intriguing topic = Top Flaps After The First. As Larry Lane has been promoting it on the Facebook Group several people have posted suggestions as to what should make the list. On a slow summer week it might be worth your time to tune in and see the chatter.

 

An update from Philmont – my daughter Sophia is out there serving on staff as a Ranger. She has led several crews out on the trail. Over the July 4th holiday she attended a cowboy rodeo of all things – very America! Her 20th birthday is coming up in a few weeks and she has a camping trip planned during some time off. We get some choppy calls from her once a week but she seems to be really enjoying her time there.

 

This weekend on eBay I have 164 live auctions running on pins, OA, council patches and more. While I am gone my employees are going to keep everything shipped out and hopefully take lots of pictures for upcoming listings.
