Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 25, 2024
Monday will be tough as we start a new school schedule. I’ll be awake at 5 AM and out the door before 6 to get my son to his bus pick up site. Patrick is attending an arts magnet high school in Charlotte that is 40 minutes from our house. So the good news is I will be at my desk by 630 AM in the warehouse Monday-Friday on school days for the next four years.
I’ve been running a sale this week on over 17k items in my store that is about to expire. This sale is very diverse with a little bit of everything discounted.
The other side of this is picking him up at around 3 so my work day will just shift forward. But hopefully that gives me time in the late afternoon to start going to our local Y and getting an exercise routine going. It’s going to be a rough week for all of us re-configuring the sleep schedule.
On eBay this week I have 107 live auctions with many camp patches among those ending tonight. I have quickly moved back into my listing schedule with 50 new items being added to the store every day.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
