A few minutes after hitting send on this newsletter I’m going to film a Facebook live for my Patreon Group the Scouting Hot Finds Insiders. I don’t talk about it very much here in the newsletter but for a few years now I’ve had this as an option for anyone who wants to peek behind the curtain.
Every week I film an exclusive unboxing or inside the warehouse video for the Insiders to let them see inside the business. Often these are collections where I have to make an offer or otherwise have a spicy detail that I don’t feel right about sharing publicly. I sometimes share the struggles, wins and journey of doing this as a full time Scouting memorabilia collector and dealer.
But the Insiders are also a valuable sounding board for me on ideas (which I tend to get out of left field). So how does it work? Well there is a free membership plan that I plan to ramp up with some extra focus. But the private Facebook group and weekly content is behind a paywall. This model is used by many content makers on social media to let some people choose to get all the good stuff.
On eBay have 140 live auctions including tons of OA and camp patches. In the warehouse we have a lot of projects going on. In fact that’s the topic of the live I am going to film this morning for the Insiders – going through the warehouse to talk about what’s on the plate.
