Boy Scout Patch Collection From The 2001 National Jamboree Unboxing

Many times when I purchase Scouting memorabilia collections from people who have done the program I get Jambo collections. Although it’s often lamented in my hobby let’s face it. For that one beautiful week at the National Scout Jamboree thousands of Scouts (and adults) become patch collectors. The fun of walking down the road and trading a patch with a Scout from another part of the country is one of the pastimes that many of us have enjoyed.

 

So it’s not surprise that someone like me who buys Boy Scout collections when people are ready to part with them that I find A LOT of Jambo collections. In today’s video I’ve got a collection from a Jamboree that I attended as a visitor. I have great memories of trading patches at the 2001 Jamboree. I might have even traded with this guy!
