50+ Year Old St. Louis Boy Scout Collection Unboxing
Let’s go back in time to the era of the red berets. When Scouting was trying to make a pivot from the army green style of the previous generation they got a little more flair with the uniform. In fact one of the fun things I come across in this Boy Scout collection unboxing is a BSA catalog from the early 1970s. It was fun showing you guys the changing styles and the prices on those items. Wow inflation is a real thing for sure!
Happily I made a deal with the guy and his check is going out in the mail today. I always try and help to get Scouting memorabilia recycled back to the next generation. If you have some Scouting memorabilia that needs a new home reach out…I might be able to help you.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
