Planting a seed for my Cub Scouts
I have an abbreviated newsletter today. We are starting down a snow storm in North Carolina and I had to speed things up so I could spend some time with the family. I do have a few surprises in here so I hope you will read through and enjoy clicking on the auctions I found.
I want to share a very special unboxing video in today’s issue. Last week I got in a collection of Eagle Scout medals and decided to film the unboxing at the end of my Cub Scout den meeting. I used the opportunity to plant a seed that these Cubs should strive to earn their Eagle Scout award and get their own medal.
I closed another $400 deal last night which will go towards paying off 1/3 of the amount due for my daughters WSJ trip. I’m trying to sell of some better pieces to fund the Jamboree and so far I’ve made good progress. I’ll only have another $850 to go once this payment goes through.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
