1960s Jamboree Boy Scout Collection Unboxing
At the beginning this Boy Scout collection had me stumped. But thankfully the Scouter wrote me a nice letter detailing his amazing experiences as an Eagle Scout attending the 1964 National Jamboree, visiting the 1967 World Jamboree and seeing Europe with his Explorer Post. He also served on camp staff at Camp Barton in New York where he was active in the OA. This is a great example of the collections that I love to get. Somebody who was SUPER active during their time and held onto everything as this meant so much to them. I am very lucky that he found me and agreed to sell me the items so I could re-home them and put them back into Scouting.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
