I often say that when unboxing a Scouting collection it’s like opening a time capsule. Both of the collections featured in today’s video are similar. One guy was an Eagle Scout from Indiana Hoosier Trails Council and OA Lodge 212. The second Scouter was from the Viking Council in Minnesota. But they both held onto their stuff for decades before deciding to send it to me. These collections are heavy with event patches which are kinda the lifeblood of someone in a troop doing true Scouting. Just by looking through I don’t see much evidence that they did much trading but both made lots of memories in the program.
And YES if you are wondering for the first part of the video I had one of my cameras turn off so that accounts for the unusual angle.
