I’ve shared this before but if you want to be alerted the moment I go live on Facebook you can register at www.ScoutPatchLive.com. Make sure you enable Facebook Messenger to be able and communicate because that’s how the system can capture your comment of SOLD in the video.
TOR tables for the Charlotte TOR are nearly sold out. I sent some emails to past table renters this week to make sure they didn’t get shut out. I’ve had 9 tables reserved this week and that’s putting us almost at capacity. With the BSA Supply Group coming the interest in this show has really peaked!
During the coming months part of what I’ll be doing is reaching out to the local Scouting community to promote the Charlotte TOR. I typically go to 2 or 3 District Round Tables and even to troop meetings (giving away free patches) to make sure all the locals know about the show.
I have already interviewed Doug Schwab for Episode #89 of the Scouting Hot Finds Radio podcast. I need to get the audio edited and uploaded but look for that episode to debut early next week. In this interview we talk about the Spirit of Jamboree museum at the 2019 WSJ.
I have a sad duty to perform tomorrow. My mom and I are driving to Sanford, North Carolina to attend the funeral of the man who pinned my Eagle medal on me in 1989. Bogdan Zlotnicki known locally as Mr. Z was a Scouter his whole life including stops in Guam when he was in the Air Force. He was such a nice guy and was big into Wood Badge and especially Cub Scout training.
