Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 01, 2020

I missed sending out a Friday issue because I was running all over creation getting stuff for my new warehouse. I started the picking at 8 AM at a warehouse where I got things from a guy off FB Marketplace including shelving, a fridge, thermal printers, labels, and more. Then I drove to Spartanburg to meet an employee of Chris Jensen to get shelving from the Habitat For Humanity Restore that is closing in Easley, SC.

Monday morning at 8 AM I am picking up the keys to the new place. I’m anxious to see the improvements since I signed the lease about 5 weeks ago including new carpet, paint and a roll up door. Things will move pretty quickly from there as I’ve got a technology company coming Wednesday to check the hard wiring for Internet. I’ll be moving all during the month of March.

I got lucky in that my daughter is on spring break next week and my mom has agreed to come up and help pack. The way I’ve got thing set up with my employees the business can keep running smoothly while I spend time over the next two weeks moving. Hopefully the week of the Charlotte TOR I’ll have the whole move completed and be in the new location.

I’m at the tail end of my neckerchief sale on eBay with about 4-dozen listings ending soon at auction. I’ve got over 200 that did not get a bid so I’ll adjust the minimum bid and throw them back up for another 7 days tonight.

I got an email from a fellow collector last night with content that he suggested I post on one of my long running (but not very active) websites www.CarolinaOA.com. This website was created with the idea of collectors from the lodges in that area share finds and details on new issues. Thanks to Larry Banks this website has it’s first new content in over a year! Needless to say if anyone else has stuff to share just send me an email with pictures and I’ll get it posted right away.
