Thursday I did get to host a Scouter who drove about 3 hours to sell me his collection. We spent a lot of time going through the boxes and sharing stories. He spent many years in the Mid-Atlantic area and was a fairly serious local collector. I won’t have an unboxing video for that one but I did film something quick and dirty that I’ll share with the Insiders over on Patreon.
Today I am hoping to get out to the warehouse after church and finish up some projects. I’ve got a couple of unboxing videos to film that are going to be a little complicated. One lady sent 6 separate boxes so that ought to get real interesting.
I am also trying to put the finishing touches on the release for sale of the Camp Book. The final count puts it at over 1600 pages so that has been a trip figuring out printing and shipping options. For those of you looking for it I expect to roll it out in the Tuesday newsletter.
I have 449 live auctions on eBay with about 1/2 of those ending tonight. This includes event patches and a bunch of OA from all over
With any luck today I will also finish my project to organize and ID my OA flap name/number set. I’ve been combing through a 1500 piece collection I bought in January trying to decide which flap to keep in my permanent collection and which to sell. This has been a very fun project!
