Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 19, 2024

 

Today’s new unboxing (the first in a while!) features an amazing campfire blanket from CA that I got in a collection. This one is loaded with OA and it’s a keeper. YES! I actually collect campfire blankets and have more than a dozen from many different countries.

 

I was asked yesterday to come to a Scouting event next month and set up a display. I am going to respond back today with the idea that it be sharing my campfire blankets. I’ll also include patch vests as those might be a little more common. Down here in the south it rarely gets warm enough to cover yourself in a giant wool or fleece blanket. But I’ve ranted over the years about actually sharing your collection and so I’m happy to do it.

 

Table sales for the Charlotte TOR are picking up. I am excited to share that Marcus Bailey is going to display his collection of OA sashes at the show. Doug Chambers is also going to bring a pin display. If anyone else wants me to set aside some space for them to share their collection in our display area please let me know!

 

I have 362 live auctions on eBay this week – not exactly a small number but I am happy to get so much inventory pushed out and for sale. In addition this week I am running a big sale in my store that ends Sunday so check it out. The sale includes over 10k items!
