Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 4, 2025
The TOR is not officially open and yet we already have the first score of the day! Matt Delk took time to go through my dollar bins and found an old CP that had some glue on the back. As I finish writing this issue the dealers are coming in to set up.
This weekend there are plenty of big auctions running on eBay even if you can’t make it to one of the TORs. I am watching the felt vest below that is loaded with 1940s camp patches and OA flaps.
On eBay I have 189 live auctions including several dozen OA neckerchiefs (some dating back to the 1950s) that are worth a look. It’s nice to have the store still running as I’m fully engaged in the Charlotte TOR.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
