Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 7, 2023
I got a little busy with the first day of Spring Break and didn’t get the Friday issue finished and published on time. So here is a very unique “Saturday” issue of the Hot Finds. LOL My project this week has included listing merit badges and I got my 1960s issues up on eBay yesterday.
For the first two days of next week I’ll have help in the office from my son Patrick. He has to work off some bills so like his sister before him the “Bank of Dad” accepts hours at the patch warehouse in exchange for debts. I have already bought him snacks for the two days so I think it will be an easy duty for him.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
