This week’s unboxing features a collection from a family featuring the grandfather and grandson. In talking to the family it was obvious that the 1930s Eagle Scout was a big influence on his grandson. This collection might be the beginning of an Eagle Scout display idea that I have been cooking up.
Last night while scrolling Facebook I saw a devastating message sharing news that one of our Camp Barstow staff members had died in an ATV accident. The Eagle Scout was 18 years old and had been on our waterfront staff. I hired him a few years back and he was always a VERY respectful young man who was an asset to the camp. His dad is a Scouter and I feel such grief for the family.
I have 200 live auctions on eBay with about 75 of those ending this weekend. Today in the warehouse I’m going to work on listing neckerchiefs that we have prepped and ready. After the big sort my employee has begun sorting the camp patches alphabetically to get that on the conveyor belt. Next step is photography!
