Boy Scout Patch Collection Unboxing – 1957 National Jamboree Alabama
Another collection recycled back into the hands of collectors! I got an email from a gentleman who attended the 1957 National Jamboree from Alabama who had kept his stuff all these years. We had a great phone conversation where I got to hear the details of his exploits at Valley Forge, PA all those years ago.
In this unboxing you will see a time capsule. He never reengaged with Scouting but instead kept these items in safe keeping for the next seven decades! I hope you will enjoy seeing all the vintage stuff that I pull in this group. I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
