Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter June 14, 2020

I had a break through with eBay customer support Friday that opened the door for me to begin another tweek to my eBay strategy. I got convinced them to greatly increase the selling limits on my newest account to give me the flexibility I need to post my Shopify store contents there.

So for about a year I’ve played around with the idea of an eBay store where everything was $5. That store has done okay but later this month I’m going to rebrand it as ScoutPatchHQ. Then it will have the inventory from my off-eBay Shopify store cross-listed. I think that will help with giving it an identity and obviously having more stuff for sale.

My daughter left this morning for a 10 day trip to the Florida Sea Base. I’m so thankful that her trip wasn’t cancelled as just about everybody else had their plans nixed this summer. So me and the wife are going to the beach down in SC as well to get out of the house. I normally take patch projects with me on these vacations but I’m not letting myself do that this time so I can have a true break. No worries though my employees will keep everything shipped out in the office.

On my soon to be rebranded eBay store I’ve got 214 auctions on CSPs. There are 173 OA flaps up for bids on Patchsniper. Finally on OApatch you can find 142 auctions on OA issues.

I learned recently that my home lodge is going to cancel it’s planned OA Week and Summer Fellowship planned for July. I swear this corona crap not the lawsuit is going to be the death of Scouting as we know it. 🙁
