I am getting today’s issue out a bit later in the day than I normally due. I had a few errands today that pushed things back so I apologize if any of my hand picked listings already had the gavel fall.
Yesterday I had a visitor in the warehouse from Ohio that brought me a large collection from an estate. I’ve been working with him and another collector to help a family wrap up what has been a multiple year effort to sell this collection. Pieces of it has gone to TORs and been posted here and there. So I was happy to make things simple for the family and just buy it all….Boy’s Life magazines and all!
So the only dilemma is that at the current moment we have 40 long boxes of patches already sorted and ready to photograph. Over the next few weeks between JSPs and CSPs we should add another dozen. We probably manage to run 2-3 of those through our normal listing process each week. So that means we have enough sorted inventory to last us almost all of 2025. So I’m playing around with ideas of how to take these items and list them for sale in a new strategy. More to come!
On eBay I have 166 live auctions running on items ranging from OA to SAPs and vintage CSPs. Today I was working to schedule Jamboree patches from the last 40 years worth of Jambos. These are no JSPs but rather many staff items and the regular issue pieces.
