This morning before hitting the publish button I posted my latest unboxing video to YouTube. This one came to me out of New York and includes some nice vintage pieces from Munsi lodge. This Scout attended the 1960 National Jamboree and was later part of a Wood Badge course so had a good Scouting career.
This Scout did it all having attended the Jamboree and hiking Philmont in the summer of 1961. There were two sashes and two felt vests with patches from a similiar era. So my guess is that this was his brother or another close family member. Often times I see that in a family stuff gets passed down to the member who was most active and so they might end up with grandpa and uncles items.
I hope you will watch the video but if you see something in there that you are interested in I apologize that I can’t pull it out of the box. My production schedule for these videos is spread out over many months and so those items have already been processed here at the warehouse. I have more boxes sitting in the corner that will be waiting for me when I get back after summer camp.
On eBay this week I have 315 live auctions running on tons of SAPs, OA flaps and more. This summer I will keep my foot on the pedal running auctions thanks to my wonderful employees who will keep the warehouse running smooth while I’m gone. Every weekend I’ll come home and check in and luckily I do have Internet access at camp.
I have three full days left in the warehouse before I leave. Today I’m doing a little bit of everything! Finishing projects to add shelves, build a mug wall, sort out the collection room and more!
