Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter July 02, 2021

The cool weather and occasional showers continue to help us enjoy a very mild summer in central South Carolina. I can look on the news and see that some parts of the country are not fareing as well this summer. Our high today is 78 degrees which is unheard of in July!

Our pop up Scout museum was another success this week. We stayed open for about 3 hours before we packed things up in the dining hall. We also had a great time with the Salesmanship merit badges selling $1 vintage uniforms in the pavilion. One Scout is wearing his uniform today in camp!

I am back up to 182 live auctions on eBay including a bunch of ones that just went live Sunday. My eBay store now has 45k unique listings. Part of my week at camp has been hosting the salesmanship merit badge class for about 45 minutes to discuss my online business and give them suggestions on ideas that they have.

I’m staying over at camp this weekend rather than making the almost 2.5 hour trip home. Hopefully I can catch up on some sleep and perhaps get a few patch projects done during my free time
