Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 11, 2023
All day today I am hanging out with several hundred resellers in Charlotte at a resellers event called FlipCon. As I have gone around the room and talked to people so far I have not found someone that has a niche the focus on. I didn’t expect to find any Scout memorabilia collectors here but thought there would be some collectibles niche sellers. I am hoping to get some tips and tricks from the hive mind….so far nothing I can use but I have met some people that I follow online and that’s cool.
Tomorrow morning a few resellers are going to come visit my warehouse to see the operation. If I can wrap them into it I am hoping to film an unboxing video with one of them to see what a non-collector would think about that these collections I get in.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
