Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 07, 2018

This week feels like I finally got settled in and started cranking out new listings for auction. Right now I’ve got 100+ brand new auctions up and running. Some of these are items I’ve been sitting on for most of the year and just now getting time to launch.

Perhaps the coolest things I am listing now are felt camp patches from a few different collections. For perspective my home camp has maybe 10 felt issues and all are $500+ type auctions when they do come up. I don’t know that the camps I’ve got here are quite that star power but I am anxious to see.

Later today I’m am going to start bagging and boxing my 2018 NOAC patches. They have been sitting on a table since coming home from Indiana but now it’s time to catalog them into my inventory system and make room to sort some new stuff for next week. You can still get 25% off the 250+ listings that are live at BIN items.

I am welcoming a new eBay partner today! Aaron Carlson is the Patchkid and I’m sure many of you have purchased from him over the years. Aaron has tons of inventory including the inventory of another dealer that he bought out last year. So keep an eye on his eBay store as he builds it up with fresh items being launched weekly.

Another one of my eBay partners is also getting new stuff listed. Lake Murray Trading Company (Jason Shull) has a bunch of neckerchiefs up for bids as first run auctions this week.

My crew is headed to the beach this weekend to celebrate two birthdays and catch a break after a grueling month of moving. I hope to take a long nap tomorrow on the beach at Pawley’s Island (under an umbrella) and make some progress planning out the camp program for next year on the porch. I have to get my 1 hour a week in of course!
