Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 8, 2024

So I am sometimes contacted by people like you that have great Scout collections and are at the point that they want to let someone else have it. You’ve read about me getting on airplanes and otherwise trying to chase down collections. But I’ve been talking to a guy out in CA and the amount of stuff he has is just too much for me to tackle. But maybe you are interested?

I’ve seen pictures of the collection and it’s all stored in an out building that appears to be clean. The guy estimates the collection is worth $50k but is willing to take considerably less than that for it. I just know that I can’t fly out there and drive back in a Uhaul across the whole country. But maybe someone closer can take a chance to reaching out to him to work out a deal. He is not interested in cherry picking so you have to buy it all.

Kenneth did a lot of Scouting in the Greater Yosemite Council and has a lot of stuff from CA. He lives in the Central Valley Wine Country. At least one other dealer has already seen the collection but was run off for being rude. So I”m just sharing the lead if any of the readers want to take a shot please email for his phone number.

Tonight one eBay I have 80 auctions ending including rare Philmont, OA flaps and conclave issues. When I have everything rolling I like to have a variety to attract more bidders.
