Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 21, 2021

Tonight I am going to make a little bit of a gamble. I have been saving up some pretty good items to list to auction for just this moment. I’m rolling the dice and figuring that the Sunday after Thanksgiving (and Black Friday etc) is a good one to have some really nice cloth ending at auction. We will see! I’ll launch them tonight and next Tuesday remind you what I have up.

Last night I continued my fall tradition (well just this year so far) of going to the office to watch my SC Gamecocks play on tv and list some more stuff in the eBay store. On a chilly night in Columbia my team found some 2nd half magic to beat Auburn and become bowl eligible. I also was able to add more than 30 items to my auction drafts ready to launch tonight.

Next week nothing is going to change for the Hot Finds. I am probably going to record a video for my Patreon subscribers for my monthly feature “Inside the Warehouse”. My employees are coming in Monday and Tuesday and my crowd has a Thanksgiving drive to make down to see family. But I’m not taking my foot off the pedal listing new stuff. The eBay algorithm seems to be showing my store plenty of love lately with my listing daily listing strategy so I’ll keep going.

Tonight I have the very best belt buckles and neckerchief slides in my inventory ending at auction. In fact there are only a handful of old camp patches in the mix tonight. As the end of the year draws near I have been trying to recoup some money from having made big investments in my flap collection (yes…Baluga) and so I’m hoping for a big finish tonight.

I will be interviewing Chris Jensen early this week and posting that on my podcast. Chris has some big news to share (I wonder what it could be….?) that I’m sure many of you will want to be part of.
