Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 19, 2017
Yesterday I actually broke out my merit badge collection and enjoyed “playing with my patches”. Since moving to more of a full time dealer I really haven’t spent much time just enjoying my collection so that was a treat. I have many needs but also a great collection that I’m happy with.
The guy in my home lodge that is helping me write the new memorabilia guide for Santee 116 is home for Christmas. It’s my hope that we can put the finishing touches on the project and get it out before the lodge banquet in a few weeks.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
